The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This includes preparing resident rooms for new occupants, handling general maintenance repair needs at the community, performing routine cleaning and maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment, and working to problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others to ensure that projects are completed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare resident rooms for new occupants
  • Handle general maintenance repair needs at the community
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards
  • Work to problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others to ensure that projects are completed
  • Keep accurate maintenance records of work done

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens
  • Familiarity with the TELs system a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of similar experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to stay organized and multi-task
