Job Title: Alterations Customer Service RepresentativeEstimated Salary: $20-$25 per hour

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and servicing customers, making appointments, answering phones, pressing garments, and ensuring items are ready for pickup.
  • Using systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star customer experience.
  • Meeting service vows, including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers, completing operational checklist tasks and meeting customers' emotional and practical needs.
  • Providing an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once, contributing to store achievement of Five-Star Customer Service. Proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary.
  • Communicating how alterations can perfect the dress for an event in partnership with Alterations.
  • Promoting all alterations services and personalization options.
  • Maintaining store standards (clean, organized, promotional readiness, store recovery) to support a flawless shopping experience.
  • Maintaining high dress code standards as required by the Dress Code policy.
  • Greeting and escorting all alterations customers to and from alterations for appointments.
  • Pressing, steaming, and spot cleaning all merchandise.
  • FOLLOWING quality control guidelines and inspecting all garments altered/steamed/pressed to verify pristine condition before final delivery to the customer.
  • BUILDING long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • SUPPORTING inventory management by processing special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards for all merchandise.
  • SUPPORTING cash wrap behaviors and processing transactions with accuracy to make every customer feel celebrated.
  • SEEKING assistance from the Alterations Manager to address customer issues that cannot be resolved.
  • MAINTAINING a clean and well-organized alterations room.
  • PERFORMING duties and tasks assigned by store management.
