Key Responsibilities:
Conducts repairs and maintenance on automotive machinery and equipment.
Job Duties:
UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION
Performs comprehensive overhauls on vehicle motors
Obtains necessary parts for automotive repairs
Executes service calls in various locations
Identifies and diagnoses issues in automotive machinery
Resolves breakdowns or complications related to automotive systems
Rectifies malfunctioning automotive equipment
Engages in related tasks as required
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Adheres to regular attendance policies and any specific requirements of the role as established by management, including mandatory overtime and related responsibilities
Engages in prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, and climbing
Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 100 pounds in a collaborative environment
Possesses sufficient vision and hearing abilities to identify and address mechanical issues
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program
Experience as a Mechanic
Minimum of two years of mechanical experience in a commercial garage setting
Additional Requirements:
Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license
Equivalency Clause:
Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of the training requirement.
