Job Title: Banquet Captain - Supervisor/Bartender/Server

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at the Club at Seabrook Island, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our Club banquets and special events, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Banquet Staff: Lead a team of banquet servers, bartenders, and other support staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Event Execution and Implementation: Work closely with the Banquet Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute banquets and special events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Staff Management and Training: Provide guidance, training, and support to banquet staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Customer Service and Relations: Foster strong relationships with guests, respond to their needs and concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with the event.
  • Inventory Management and Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including supplies, equipment, and furniture, to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that all applicable safety regulations are communicated and adhered to, and that the venue and facilities remain safe and secure.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Two years of previous experience as a Banquet Captain or Supervisor or a similar position.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple streams of information.
  • Time Management and Organization: Great time management and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service even in stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to lift heavy objects, confident and safe driving skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
