Essential Qualifications:
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Each team member is responsible for integrating San Juan Regional Medical Center's Service Standards into their daily activities:
Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Report any injuries to your supervisor and complete a Quantro's report immediately following an incident.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving are required while performing job functions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier items using proper techniques and equipment.
• Assigned to specific areas of the facility according to a set schedule.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours and schedules when necessary.
• Participation in ongoing education programs is expected.
• Use of various cleaning agents, including soaps, bleach, and disinfectants.
• Operation of powered equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor machines.
• Potential exposure to infectious diseases, blood and body substances, contaminated materials, and deceased individuals.
• Required to communicate verbally with nursing staff, patients, and other hospital personnel.
• Compliance with the use of masks, gowns, gloves, shoe covers, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
