Blythe Development Co, a leading general contractor, is seeking a skilled Grading Foreman to join their team in Charleston, SC. As a key member of the site operations team, you will be responsible for supervising field operations, engaging in trade work, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of projects.

• Supervise and direct grading crew, reporting to Superintendent
• Operate and supervise the operation of heavy equipment on project sites
• Read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications
• Provide reports on time and materials
• Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met

• 5+ years of SCDOT, commercial, and/or residential grading experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs
• SCDOT experience and knowledge of SCDOT specs, including standard knowledge of Erosion and Sedimentation
• MUST be able to read plans proficiently
• Traffic control knowledge (Training can be provided)
• Has knowledge with GPS and can set and check grades with rotating laser
• Needs to be able to Operate a Motor Grader, Dozer, & Track Hoe
