Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit RN

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to our mission of being the innovative leader in the professional role of the registered nurse.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team, who possesses a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame, utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing care, with a minimum of 1000 hours of experience in a Registered Nurse role in an acute care facility with medical and cardiac patients within the last 24 months. Additionally, the candidate must possess current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and ACLS, as well as a strong understanding of cardiac pharmacology, vasoactive therapy, temporary and permanent pacemakers, and emergency interventions.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- 1000 hours of experience in a Registered Nurse role in an acute care facility with medical and cardiac patients within the last 24 months
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and ACLS
- Strong understanding of cardiac pharmacology, vasoactive therapy, temporary and permanent pacemakers, and emergency interventions
Work Schedule:
36 hours per week, with a shift of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, with no waiver.
Pay Range:
$99.73 per hour, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
