Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize metal cleaning machinery, including vapour blasters, wheelabrators, deburrers, and blast cabinets
  • Conduct in-process cleaning, air drying, and buffing of components
  • Submerge metal items in chemical cleaning solutions
  • Prepare and mask surfaces before the cleaning process
  • Maintain and clean cleaning equipment and tanks
  • Engage in process enhancement initiatives
  • Cross-train in related skill sets
  • Comply with safety protocols
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
  • Experience in titrating chemicals
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling
  • Understanding of production management systems
