Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hygienist to contribute to our team's mission of delivering exceptional oral health care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on patients' smiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform oral prophylaxis and scaling to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for improving oral health
  • Take digital dental x-rays and assist the dentist during various procedures
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation to patients as needed
  • Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records
  • Assist with infection control procedures and sterilization of dental instruments
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oral health care and attend continuing education programs as required
Requirements
  • Valid state Hygienist license
  • Proficient in performing oral prophylaxis and scaling
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral diseases, and treatment options
  • Experience with digital x-rays and dental software systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with dental professionals
  • Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
