Job Summary: The Catering Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of food and beverage services. This position requires strong leadership skills to ensure exceptional service and execution of catered events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular attendance, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for event schedules.
  • Assess workload requirements to uphold high standards for catered events.
  • Collaborate with clients to finalize event arrangements and adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Engage with guests and clients to address any inquiries or concerns effectively.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of menus, including food quality, service, and presentation.
  • Lead and instruct hourly staff on service standards and expectations for events.
  • Train and support staff in the setup, preparation, and breakdown of event spaces.
  • Oversee the delivery and supervision of food and supplies for scheduled functions.
  • Direct food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a high-quality experience.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations while maintaining food quality and presentation.
  • Manage the cleanliness and organization of all service equipment and stations.
  • Work closely with culinary teams to guarantee proper food preparation and adherence to client agreements.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisory or venue leadership.
  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment.
