Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography Technologist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including CT scans, to help diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect for all individuals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall mission and goals of CHRISTUS Health.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required; 3 years preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT required.
  • Current state licensure and BLS certification required.

Work Schedule:

Per Diem As Needed
