JOB PURPOSE

The objective is to achieve and surpass personal and store sales targets while implementing essential strategies for retail-driven growth. This includes leveraging franchise opportunities, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering development across all product categories. It is vital to embody and adhere to the Burberry Experience in every interaction, taking ownership of the responsibility to cultivate new clientele while nurturing existing relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Service
Embrace the Burberry Experience and adhere to training protocols and standards that reflect the luxury brand's image. Consistently achieve individual sales targets while demonstrating the Burberry Behaviours. Provide exceptional customer service, exhibit strong selling skills, and show a commitment to success. Display outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

Client Development
Foster customer loyalty through proactive client engagement and follow-up. Maintain a comprehensive and current client database. Adhere to all client development requirements, including courtesy communications, inviting customers back to shop, reactivation efforts, and compliance with capture standards.

Visual Standards
Follow company policies and procedures to uphold visual merchandising standards in accordance with Burberry guidelines. Ensure the selling floor is maintained by executing monthly floor sets, returning items to their proper places, and replenishing merchandise as needed. Ensure that all items are properly ticketed and not visible to customers.

Floor Presence & Maintenance
Beginning of Shift: Arrive on the selling floor prepared and ensure it is ready for customers.
End of Shift: Ensure the selling floor is restocked and prepared for the following day. Remain active and engaged on the floor throughout the day, returning items to their proper places and replenishing merchandise as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization in fitting rooms.

Back of House Support
Assist with markdown processes and participate in bi-annual inventory activities. Contribute to the achievement of pre-sale objectives and engage in store contests. Help maintain an organized stockroom and ensure all stock is stored in an orderly manner.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Willingness to work in and promote a collaborative team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with management and staff. A consistently positive attitude and accountability for personal actions are required. Must be results-oriented and adaptable to change. A genuine interest in fashion and design is preferred. Advanced knowledge of point-of-sale and store systems is necessary. A minimum of one year of sales experience, ideally in a luxury retail setting, is required. Proven track record in driving sales and achieving targets, along with a strong background in customer service and clienteling.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Financial Targets: Achieving individual and store sales goals, units per transaction, average transaction value, and client development metrics. Delivering excellent customer service as evaluated through the Burberry Experience assessments and ensuring compliance with capture standards.
