Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As an integral member of our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of students in an educational setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings to evaluate students' physical and mental health status.
  • Administer medications to students as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosages and schedules.
  • Provide immediate first aid and emergency care to students and staff members in case of injuries or illnesses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, including medical history, immunizations, medications, and health-related incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students' health concerns, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with state health regulations, school district policies, and legal requirements related to health services in schools.
  • Provide specialized health care support to students with chronic health conditions, disabilities, or special needs, enabling them to fully participate in school activities.
Qualifications
  • Valid Washington State RN license.
  • Desire to work in pediatrics and make a positive impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
