Key Responsibilities- Perform and report laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely results for patient care.
- Manage multiple work processes simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Handle and process specimens with care, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Verify patient identification and specimen suitability, ensuring accurate test results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care, communicating test results and contributing to patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
- Stay current with industry developments, attending educational activities and workshops to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- ASCP categorical certification or equivalent, with a strong foundation in laboratory science and procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and excellent patient care.
