Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of freshly baked products, including yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and specialty desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and specialty desserts to meet production needs.
- Prepare breakfast bakery items on weekends to ensure a consistent supply of fresh products.
- Follow the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure that every product in the bakery is always fresh, tasty, visually appealing, and hot when appropriate.
- Maintain quality by preparing all products following Golden Corral recipes and standards.
- Maintain proper portioning and recipe yields.
- Follow the Bakery and Dessert Café Production Guide.
Guest Service:
- Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, assisting them with baked goods as needed.
- Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
Cleanliness:
- Perform duties to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
- Follow local health department laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
