Job Title: Inventory Manager

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our Supply Chain Solutions division in Romeoville, IL. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for tracking incoming and finished goods materials, packaging supplies, and other inventory-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily facility inventory costs and support the facility's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet/exceed established goals.
  • Maintain daily reports to measure daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control systems to meet ongoing and future facility needs.
  • Develop and manage the facility's cycle count program and inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle program.
  • Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues and office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
  • Facilitate and execute the hold process for local site.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations of direct reports and ensure daily communications and shift meetings provide necessary information for employees to do their jobs consistently well.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
  • Three (3) years or more manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience required.
  • Two (2) years or more supervisory experience required.
  • Three (3) years or more PC inventory and accounting skills required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA required.
  • DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account.
  • APICS certified preferred.
