About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As an advanced echocardiography specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac ultrasound procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures using various equipment and techniques.
  • Identify and define cardiac abnormalities, extending the scope of examination as necessary.
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms and operating rooms with echocardiograph studies.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, obtaining clinical history and adjusting imaging techniques for comprehensive diagnostic echocardiograms.
  • Record statistics and maintain daily operations of the Echocardiography Lab and its equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in cardiac sonography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 per year, based on location and experience. Our benefits package includes:
