Overview of the Role

This Speech Language Pathologist position is located at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital and involves working with inpatient patients. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. AHA BLS certification within six months of employment is also required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on physician referrals and assessment results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, therapists, managers, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and clinical activities.
  • Complete documentation and forms as required by regulatory agencies and department policies.
Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Carilion Clinic, you will also have access to opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and education programs.
