Job Title: Activities Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Assistant to join our team at Life Care Centers of America. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Activities in planning, organizing, and directing quality activities for patients, ensuring their recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote patient engagement and well-being
  • Collaborate with the Director of Activities to develop and implement activity programs
  • Ensure activities are tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs
  • Provide support to patients with special needs or requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in recreational therapy or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
