Qualifications:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a focus on building effective relationships with medical professionals, is required. Candidates should possess:
- Direct experience in evaluating and managing professional staff performance.
- A solid understanding of the current healthcare market dynamics, particularly concerning physicians.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, project management, and presentation software.
- Exceptional customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours as needed.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; an advanced degree and clinical experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
The essential duties of this position include:
- Ensuring that employed physician practices operate within budgetary constraints.
- Enhancing and maintaining physician satisfaction.
- Acting as the primary liaison between physicians and administration.
- Monitoring and analyzing business volumes for employed physicians.
- Overseeing billing and reimbursement processes for employed physicians and clinics.
- Conducting regular evaluations of practice and physician performance.
- Reporting on physician and market trends across all service areas.
- Supporting the physician recruitment initiatives of the organization.
- Engaging with physician offices to cultivate relationships and promote referrals.
- Collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer to prepare financial projections for new physician recruits.
Supervisory Role:
This position includes supervisory responsibilities.
