About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our 2nd Shift operations, responsible for the management of 13 bays, 100+ trash trucks, and 45 pieces of heavy equipment, including Tier 4 technology and electronic tablets for our mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of mechanics in a fast-paced shop environment, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with senior management to achieve business objectives, improve processes, and drive innovation.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supervising a successful team in a shop environment, with a strong background in diesel and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Prior experience with paperless shop environments and electronic tablets is highly desirable.
