Job SummaryThe Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care, including exercises, transfers, and other interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist
- Conduct patient assessments and document progress
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Competitive hourly rate: $38.00 per hour
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week
