We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our IV Team at Doylestown Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare disciplines to achieve excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, document, coordinate, and manage patient care according to department and hospital standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, physicians, family members, and other healthcare disciplines to achieve patient care goals.
- Promote patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines, and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.
- Actively participate in and support departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.
- Maintain clinical competency according to unit-specific standards.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State Bureau of Occupational and Professional Affairs.
- Successful completion of appropriate continuing education specific to job requirements.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and skills with insertion and maintenance of IV access devices.
- Certified in B.L.S. for Healthcare Provider.
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
- PICC certification within one year of hire.
