Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients. The selected candidate will work under the medical supervision of a staff anesthesiologist and be responsible for delivering anesthesia care in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include providing anesthesia services for surgical cases, covering OB for C-Sections, labor epidurals, and deliveries as needed. Additionally, the CRNA will be responsible for covering hospital cases, including difficult intubations, difficult IV starts, arterial line placement, spinal taps, and serving as a consult when necessary. Requirements for the position include a graduate degree from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council of the Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs, a minimum of 3 years' experience with some experience in regional anesthesia preferred, current North Carolina Nursing License, and current certification or recertification from the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetist. BLS and ACLS certification are also required, with PALS certification and difficult airway course highly recommended. This is a full-time, exempt position with typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with rotating weekday and weekend on-call requirements.
