The Clinical Nurse Educator is a key member of our nursing team, responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs that promote high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong background in nursing practice, education, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical education programs for nursing staff, focusing on adult learning theories and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with nursing managers and staff to identify educational needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Conduct in-services and continuing education programs for nursing staff, maintaining records of educational activities.
- Represent Nursing Professional Development on organizational and system-level committees, collaborating with other educators to develop education programs.
- Implement and support the Nursing Department philosophy and objectives, encouraging leadership skills development in nursing staff.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and current state-specific licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program or currently enrolled in a program leading to an MSN within 1 year of employment.
- Minimum of three years direct clinical experience in the specialty/with the population served, with demonstrated abilities in teaching, leadership, and clinical nursing practice.
