The Senior Financial Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the precision of financial consolidation and overseeing the preparation and assembly of the organization's consolidated financial reports, along with other regular financial submissions. This position entails investigating technical accounting inquiries, assisting the Controller team in managing accounting standards, and upholding a thorough accounting operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the consolidation procedure, which includes assembling consolidated balance sheets and income statements.
- Prepare yearly financial reports and accompanying disclosures for various business entities.
- Conduct accounting investigations for transactions related to acquisitions, leases, and equity dealings.
- Manage reconciliations for stock compensation accounts and the accounting of stock-based remuneration.
- Draft and oversee accounting policies, offering guidance and illustrative examples.
- Serve as the technical authority for accounting advice on executive management transactions.
- Evaluate internal controls and assist in the integration of new business entities.
- Deliver financial analysis and valuation assistance for acquisitions and special financial projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- CPA certification or in the process of obtaining it.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and external reporting protocols.
- Demonstrated technical accounting expertise and capability to interpret new accounting regulations.
