KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (may include, but are not limited to):
- Engage with suppliers on a daily basis to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Keep precise records of product specifications, pricing, terms, conditions, and manufacturer warranties.
- Oversee regular inventory orders and utilize usage data to minimize production disruptions.
- Provide insights and assist in managing inventory thresholds.
- Identify optimal purchasing opportunities and make purchase order recommendations based on historical usage.
- Proactively liaise with other departments regarding product distribution, delivery questions, and backorder statuses.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
- Experience with MRP systems is advantageous, but not mandatory.
