About the Role
As a Communications Therapist, you will play a vital part in our multidisciplinary team at Pullman Regional Hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and administer medically prescribed treatment programs to help individuals of all ages with speech, language, literacy, voice, cognitive or swallowing concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient function according to ASHA standards, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Gather essential patient information through detailed histories and notes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Pursue ongoing education to maintain licensure and stay current in best practices.
  • Diligently document patient charts, adhering to industry standards and timelines.

About You
We are seeking an experienced Communications Therapist who possesses:
  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • An active Washington State License, or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and patients.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Fundamental computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
