RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services. As a key member of our team, you will operate scanners to produce diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Your expertise will be essential in guiding patients through the imaging process, addressing their concerns and questions. This is a casual/temporary position with a flexible schedule, working various shifts between 8:30am-5:00pm and 9:00am-5:30pm during the week. Key Responsibilities: **Patient Care**
• Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
• Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures, positioning them for optimal results
• Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support throughout the process
• Adjust scanning parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques
• Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and colleagues
• Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations
• Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines **Department Support**
• Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
• Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary
• Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise
• Complete other tasks as assigned
