Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems, procedures, and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
