Position Overview:

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Engineer 2 professionals for a contract opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Develops operational sequences and outlines procedures for the production of tools and equipment, as well as other functions impacting product performance.

2. Modifies machinery or equipment designs to align with production and factory conditions, potentially integrating inspection and testing requirements into the manufacturing strategy.

3. Evaluates the performance of machinery, tools, and equipment to confirm their operational efficiency, while investigating and initiating corrective measures for any identified issues to maintain product quality.

4. Formulates manufacturing processes that adhere to statistical process control standards and may innovate those methodologies.

5. Provides engineering guidance on design concepts and specification needs to optimize the use of equipment and manufacturing practices.

6. Ensures all processes and procedures comply with industry regulations.


Required Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering is mandatory.

2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is essential.

3. Strong mechanical and electrical manufacturing engineering background is preferred, ideally within the Aerospace sector.

4. Candidates should have successfully completed a significant manufacturing engineering project, preferably in a leadership role overseeing project tasks.

5. Proven problem-solving experience is crucial.


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification as a Green Belt or Black Belt is advantageous.


Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution is required.


Work Schedule:

9/80 workweek format.
