Position Summary

The Electronic Technician will be responsible for translating the company’s vision and strategies into actionable tasks within the maintenance department. This role involves both scheduled and unscheduled repairs of equipment, systems, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to physical plant and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and facilities.
  • Design and fabricate new equipment or modify existing machinery, including the preparation of quotes, schematics, and documentation.
  • Provide necessary data for departmental information systems, including labor, inventory, and repair procedures.
  • Operate power tools and equipment as required for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace for tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and develop appropriate setup and repair protocols.
  • Offer technical guidance for the procurement of materials and parts necessary for maintenance.
  • Perform mechanical skills, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Possess knowledge of the NFPA 70e Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, with competencies certified through an audit.
  • Adhere to Koozie Group's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad Electrical is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
  • Capable of creating and modifying PLC programs.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical circuits and components.
  • Execute all duties safely, using approved safety equipment and following established procedures.
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Contribute to teamwork through active participation.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: A minimum of a two-year technical degree in electronics or a related field; or equivalent experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting is preferred.

Hourly Wage
