Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Rome City Schools is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and monitoring effective behavior strategies and interventions for students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop positive behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide ongoing behavioral support for students with challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with special educators, general education teachers, and other staff members to develop comprehensive programming for students with disabilities
- Remain current on new research and developments in behavior analysis
- Provide direct supervision of interns and model behavior strategies and techniques
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field (applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, sociology, etc.)
- Successful completion of all requirements for Board Certification, including passage of the certification examination
- Hold current credentials through the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) of good standing
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities and various behaviors
- Completed requirements under BACB guidelines to supervise those within the field of behavior analysis
