**SIGNING BONUS OFFERED:**
We are currently on the lookout for a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (LCDC) with expertise in Co-occurring Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders (COPSD) to deliver essential services and support to clients facing dual challenges. Your role will encompass evaluating client strengths and needs, crafting individualized recovery plans, and facilitating both individual and group sessions, alongside case management duties.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure all outpatient admissions are suitable and backed by appropriate justification.
- Formulate personalized treatment plans derived from assessments, lead educational and therapeutic groups, and provide counseling services.
- Direct clients to Recovery Support Services when necessary.
- Engage clients in comprehensive screenings, assessments, and treatment planning.
- Incorporate peer support to assist and guide clients in their recovery journey.
- Develop client-centered treatment plans emphasizing recovery strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social, behavioral, or human services.
- Possession of a current Texas state issued LCDC License or the ability to secure one within 90 days of employment.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse sector.
- Valid Texas State Driver's License and dependable transportation.
