Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Physics courses at various times and locations. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Physics or a closely related field and have a strong commitment to academic excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

This is a part-time position, contingent upon student demand, with a maximum of five classes per academic year.

The salary for this position is $53.82 per contact hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Physics courses at various times and locations
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Evaluate student progress and inform students of their progress in a timely manner
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
