Overview:


This role is integral to the compliance framework, tasked with addressing compliance inquiries and aiding in the continuous management of the compliance initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Confidentiality:
Upholds strict confidentiality standards.

Communication:
Collaborates with various departments to gather essential information for Legal and Compliance auditing tasks.

Organization:
Guarantees the precision and systematic arrangement of all materials related to Legal and Compliance.

Equipment:
Operates standard office equipment including telephones, computers, copiers, and FAX machines.

Physical Requirements:
Capable of sitting and standing for prolonged periods. Hearing and vision should be within normal ranges.

Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for the compliance help desk during standard business hours.

Assist with compliance monitoring, audits, and examinations as needed.

Adhere to established compliance resources and job aids.

Raise issues of non-compliance and/or suggestions for enhancements to management.

Execute other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Proficient in managing and addressing incidents in a ticketing system.

Preferred familiarity with Encompass LOS and Mavent.

Exceptional written communication abilities.

Capable of educating users on operational and compliance protocols.

Self-driven and reliable.

Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on persistence and follow-up.

Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Knowledgeable about NMLS and the analysis of licensing information for loan officers and branches.


Familiarity with the complex landscape of residential mortgage regulations, including but not limited to TILA, TRID, QM/non-QM, RESPA, ECOA, high-cost requirements, state disclosure mandates, and ECOA.


Skills:
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.

Outstanding organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

2-5 years of experience in residential mortgage operations.

Travel Requirements:
No travel required.

Compensation:
Minimum: USD $25.00/Hr.

Maximum: USD $30.00/Hr.
