Nothing Bundt Cakes - Lawton seeks a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our bakery, you will create a warm and welcoming environment for guests, offering creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions and selling our delicious cakes.

Job Overview

The Guest Service Representative is the first point of contact in our bakery and plays an essential role in engaging and bringing joy to our guests, creating a memorable experience, and leaving a positive lasting impression.

This role embodies Nothing Bundt Cakes' core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, excellence, and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities
  1. Promptly greet walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs and follows Nothing Bundt Cakes Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
  2. Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on Nothing Bundt Cakes cake distinction, size, and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complementary retail merchandise.
  3. Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete unique celebrations.
  4. Process guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point-of-sale system and invite guests to join the Nothing Bundt Cakes Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
  5. Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
  6. Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
  7. Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
  8. Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
  9. Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

  • Been able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Been diligent, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Had the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Been comfortable with new technology and had the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Understood basic arithmetic; performed calculations when needed, and provided monetary change using U.S. currency.
  • Had the capacity to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
