We are seeking a highly skilled General Psychiatrist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in our inpatient hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling, psychotherapy, hospitalization, and/or medication.
- Provide clinical services to patients, including evaluating their mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Develop and implement individual care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in psychiatry to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- Board certification in psychiatry and current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility operates.
