**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at Autumn Woods Health Care. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to residents, employees, and special events. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our residents receive high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.
• Review menus prior to preparation and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare alternative items to meet residents' individual needs and food preferences.
• Ensure that food is served at the proper temperature and in an attractive manner.
• Utilize standardized recipes to prepare menu items.
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory.

Requirements:

• Minimum of tenth grade education or equivalent.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.
• Food Handlers permit if required per state regulations.
• Six months' experience in large quantity food preparation.
• Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.
