We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at DHR Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures
- Perform quality control and maintenance on equipment
- Ensure the care and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area
- Accurately document patient information and exam results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
- Associate of Science degree in radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, or a related field
- Eligibility for American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification
- ARDMS certification preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist will work in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to noise and varying temperatures. The position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
