About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language disorders in one of our partner schools in Commerce Township, MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student speech-language abilities to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students, aligning with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to identify strengths and areas of concern in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Stay current with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions.
  • Create a supportive learning environment through effective process management strategies.
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings to ensure collaborative support for students.
  • Develop treatment plans in conjunction with instructional staff, focusing on strength-based, child-centered approaches.
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid MI SLP license.
  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
