Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to inform care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in a NICU or pediatric critical care setting preferred.
