About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team at Capri Communities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide assistance with preparing meals, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfers
  • Administer medication and maintain related reporting requirements
  • Perform delegated tasks as instructed by the RN, Nurse Manager, or Executive Director
  • Lead or assist with activities for residents, such as impromptu and scheduled events
  • Observe and report resident conditions and safety hazards to the RN, Nurse Manager, or Executive Director
  • Document observations and activity participation in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • High school education preferred
  • Six months of experience as a personal aide, Caregiver, or equivalent life experience
  • Completion of CNA or CBRF certification (preferred)
  • Reliability and flexibility in scheduling
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, understanding, tolerance, and emotional/physical ability to meet the daily needs of our residents
