About the Role:

S&C Electric, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a skilled Mold Machine Operator to join our team. As a critical member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality epoxy parts that protect the critical infrastructure of the power grid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare molds for production cycles
  • Set up molding machines to produce epoxy insulators using various rods, spacers, and inserts
  • Cycle molding machines and monitor progress while performing secondary operations such as deflashing, inspection, and packaging
  • Transport tubs of inserts and finished molded parts
  • Sandblast and paint parts as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to use basic math and work from ordinary drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in using hand-held tools and air-impact tools
  • Less than one year of relevant experience
