Addiction Specialist

Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is seeking a highly skilled Addiction Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in our newly renovated Ansonia location.

This opportunity offers a chance to work with a population struggling with co-morbid addiction issues, providing a unique chance to make a meaningful impact.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in addiction treatment, including methadone maintenance, office-based buprenorphine treatment, and general psychiatric outpatient care.

• Provide psychiatric consultation to our BHD site(s)
• Collaborate with Program Directors to deliver clinical services and treatment planning
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide direct service and supervision of/consultation to staff
• Work with mid-levels as assigned by the Medical Director

• Recognized degree from an accredited professional school (MD, DO)
• Licensed as an MD in the State of CT
• Completed a residency training program from an accredited institution in an appropriate specialty
• Board certified or eligible
• Experience as an Addiction Psychiatrist
