Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough interpretations of drawings, codes, and other relevant materials to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Design and develop electrical power systems using Revit and other software tools, collaborating with architectural, interior, and other engineering disciplines.
- Perform field work as directed by senior engineers or designers, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of projects.
- Perform calculations to analyze and design individual building electrical system components, utilizing company-standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
- Assist with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity, providing support to senior engineers and designers.
- Collect and analyze data to inform design decisions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project team setting, engaging in creative and critical thought.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts and effective communication skills.
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and building programs, as well as take direction and feedback from senior engineers or designers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with AGI 32, Visual Lighting Software, SKM, and Newforma are preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
This is a full-time position with a typical office environment, working with computers and remaining sedentary for extended periods. Field work may involve exposure to inclement weather.
