Automotive Service Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled Automotive Technicians to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive. Our state-of-the-art facility is set to open in November 2024, and we need technicians who can diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Responsibilities- Diagnostics: Use knowledge and skills to identify and fix vehicle issues for our guests.
- Experience: Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across various domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Courtesy Inspections: Complete thorough, accurate, and honest inspections of courtesy vehicles.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the service department.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the service department and guests regarding vehicle concerns.
- Positive Attitude: A strong desire to serve guests with a positive attitude.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications: Preferably certified or working towards certification.
- Diagnostic Skills: Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Productivity: Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for Learning: Willingness to learn additional skills and processes.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Long-term Career Development: Desire for long-term career growth within the company.
- Lifting and Moving: Occasionally lift and/or move objects over 100 pounds.
- Working with Tools: Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
- Tight Spaces: Work in confined spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs.
- Hand Dexterity: Possess necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Mobility: Walk/stand for most of the workday.
- Driving: Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Computer Navigation: Efficiently navigate computer systems.

CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This figure is based on national averages for automotive technicians in the United States.
