Phlebotomist Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and being the face of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information into our system accurately and efficiently
  • Provide superior customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
