Job Overview

JAG Physical Therapy, a leading provider of comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an Occupational Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing innovative treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical decision-making skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient success. Experience in Hand Therapy is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collects and records patient care data, including initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, progress reports, and discharge plans
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and best practices
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and support systems to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Provides education and training to patients and their families on functional activities, therapeutic techniques, and community reintegration
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR)
  • Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
  • Valid CPR license
  • Experience with EMR software (preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills
  • 1+ year(s) of professional OT experience
