We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Wound Care Specialist to join our team at Vertus Healthcare. As a key member of our home health care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care services to patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of deep wounds, ostomies, severe burns, pressure injuries, continence, and diabetic foot wounds to determine treatment needs and long-term plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to establish individualized plans of care for patients with complex wounds and conditions.
  • Create plans of care for the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Document assessments and treatment recommendations.
  • Provide staff education and counseling on wound care and risk factors.
  • Refer skin alterations to specialty services.
Requirements:
  • Valid RN license and current registration.
  • Certification in WOCN, CWON, CWCN, CWS, or WCC.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years full-time nursing experience and 1 year in home health setting.
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
